Cy Pressman's offices were located on Law Lane, a stretch
of high rises on Wilshire Boulevard near Normandie that
used to house hundreds of attorneys who enjoyed both the
proximity to the downtown courts and the nearby watering
holes/pick-up bars. There was a time that a bomb dropped
on Law Lane would have wiped out half the lawyers in Los
Angeles, which, with few exceptions, would be no great loss
in my book.
